General Practice Appointments Data (GPAD) is an NHS England directive recently introduced to provide information about GP appointments usage at practice level.
New Appointments Mode functionality is introduced as part of Appointments Setup release 3.4 which will allow you to map appointment slot types to one of the following categories:
- Face to Face (Surgery)
- Face to Face (Home Visit)
- Written (Including Online)
- Telephone/Audio
- Video with Audio
- Not an Appointment
GP appointments data will report correctly when appointment slot types have been mapped to a category.
