Did you know…You can record contact details for an Appointments Special Booking?

When you are adding a Special Booking from Appointments, you can add contact details in Appointments comments and they display along with the appointment details when you hover your cursor over the booking.

To add contact details to display when you hover your cursor over a booking:

  1. From Appointments, find the slot required in the usual way, see The Free Slot Search in the Appointments Help Centre for details.
  2. The booking form displays, complete as required:
    • Check the slot type and update from the available list if appropriate.
    • Special Booking - Tick.
    • Special booking title - Enter the appointments purpose, for example, this may be a temporary patient’s name or the name of a drug representative.
    • Special booking contact details - Enter contact details if appropriate.
Note - Special booking contact details does not display on the tooltip when you hover your cursor over a booking.
    • Booking method – Select from the available list if required.
    • Duration - Update if required.
    • Appointment comments - Enter any details that you want to display on the tooltip when you hover your cursor over the booking. This can include contact details where appropriate.
3. Select either Book and Print or Book as appropriate.
