Did you know…your patients can message you using Patient Services/My Health Online?

Your patients can use your patient facing services to message you in the following ways:

From Prescriptions

  • Acute/Additional Medication Request - If your patients tick I'd like to request an expired repeat prescription or another medication they can add free text to a medication request:

  • Patient Message - If Patient Message is enabled within Control Panel - Online Services - Prescriptions Configuration, your patients can add a message to a request for repeat medication:


Messages sent from the Prescriptions section of patient facing services are processed from Mail Manager.

Patient Messaging

If you have enabled the Patient Messaging app, from Control Panel - File Maintenance - Online Services you can send and receive messages to and from your patients:

Messages are sent and received using the Patient Messaging application within Apps Controller.
