Cegedim Healthcare Solutions has been made aware by NHS Digital of recent changes made to the dm+d whereby imported and special order products have been added to help deal with supply shortages with certain licensed products. A list of such products included as at the time of writing is attached as follows, this may be subject to change week on week.

As a consequence of these changes, GP practices should be aware that they may be asked by dispensing pharmacies to provide a special order or import prescription for such products where a UK version of the product is not currently in stock for dispensing. Where requested, such items should be prescribed at AMP level.
Cegedim Healthcare Solutions PMR systems have been brought up-to-date in line with the changes.
