MMR Vaccines Recorded as Booster Changing to Stage 1 Following GP2GP Import

Cegedim Healthcare Solutions have been made aware of an issue whereby the stage of a MMR vaccination administered to a patient where previously recorded in their record as ‘Booster’ at their previous practice is being incorrectly changed to ‘Stage 1’ when filed in their Vision record at their new Vision practice following electronic transfer via GP2GP. A fix that will prevent any further occurrences of this issue has been developed and will be deployed into live in via the DLM 920 release of Vision software. In the meantime, in order to preserve data quality, Cegedim Healthcare Solutions requests that GP practices manually correct any already affected data entries. This should be done via the use of Vision Consultation Manager by adding a new MMR immunisation record with the correct ‘Booster’ stage and then deleting the previously added three, constituent immunisation entries with the incorrect ‘Stage 1’ stage. Cegedim Healthcare Solutions’ eHelp relating to the recording of immunisations in Vision is available here.

A MMR Clinical Audit is available at https://help.cegedim-healthcare.co.uk/clinical%20audit/Content/Downloads/Imms%20and%20HP.htm for use to identify patients at your practice with affected data that requires to be corrected. The following lines added for “Data Quality” at the bottom of the MMR Clinical Audit will identify any patients who have more than one Stage 1 immunisation record for MMR on different dates.
