** RESOLVED ** Vision Consultation Manager Crashing on Failed Bulk Reauthorisation of Repeat Master Prescriptions

An issue was previously identified earlier this year relating to the failure of some repeat master prescriptions to reauthorise successfully when actioned as a bulk process using the Vision GP clinical system. This resulted in Vision Consultation Manager crashing, with the associated repeat master prescriptions being inactivated.

This issue only occurred at some GP practices where Vision is used for certain drugs included within a bulk reauthorisation of prescriptions.

All practices identified as having been affected by this issue were contacted at that time to request that the records of patients with affected repeat master prescriptions were checked, with the reauthorisation process completed for any that remained inactivated as a result of the issue. In further mitigation, affected practices were asked to reauthorise repeat master prescriptions one at a time as a temporary workaround for this problem.

Subsequently, a fix was developed and rolled out to all affected Vision sites to prevent any further occurrences of the issue. This was deployed to all affected Vision practices by 9th September 2021 .
