Vision Anywhere 3.5 - Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the new version of Vision Anywhere on desktop. This new release offers the following enhancements:

  • Patient Summary – We have listened to our customers and the Patient Summary screen now displays in vertical format, simply use the vertical scroll bar to view all available data. Category headings now display a count and can be selected to display relevant entries.

  • Recent Patients – From your home screen, the new Recent Patients list displays the last five recently opened patients.

  • QOF Indicators  - When searching for a clinical term in an encounter, any terms that are QOF compliant are displayed with a QOF label.

  • Vision Anywhere for Business Continuity -Vision Anywhere now automatically prompts you to login when you start your workstation. Once you are logged in, Vision Anywhere downloads your patient list for patients with booked appointments in the last and future 7 days. This offers you a valuable business continuity service should you experience network issues.

  • Appointments Books – Appointments book now display alphabetically on the Vision Anywhere login screen.

  • Medication – The following changes have been made to medication as part of this release:

    • Out of Practice - You can now record therapy that has been prescribed elsewhere, for example, over the counter medication, prescribed by hospital.

    • Handwritten Prescriptions - You can now record medication which has been prescribed as handwritten.

    • Print SLS endorsement – Drugs items which are part of the Selected List Scheme are now printed with the SLS endorsement on the prescription form.

    • Drug Class – If a medication belongs to more than one drug class, you can now select which class the drug you are prescribing belongs to.

    • Allergies - You are now prevented from prescribing drug items for patients who have an existing allergy, intolerance or adverse reaction with a Severity of Potentially fatal. If you add a potentially fatal allergy where the drug is already active on the patient record, you are prompted to review the medication.

What do I have to do?

Upgrading is really easy - Vision Anywhere 3.5 is currently being deployed to existing Vision Anywhere customers. The next time you open Vision Anywhere after you have automatically received the update, you will be prompted to run the install. Simply follow the instructions on the screen, see installing a Vision Anywhere Update
